Proper amazing scenes from last Fridays Jools Holland show. I can't get enough of this.
Loving the new lp 'High Violet', and nice to see it getting the heavyweight double vinyl pressing their music deserves.
Out now on the legendary 4AD label, back to their best with a heavyweight roster - Deerhunter, Camera Obscura, Blonde Redhead, Bon Iver, TV On The Radio, Atlas Sound etc.
The Big Pink truly are dogshit though.

Jackmate & The Missing Linkx
A tasty double helping of oddball house music from Germany, cooked just the way i like it.
'Discodisco2' starts off like early Idjut Boys with dubbed-out beats and 3 note bassline, before building into a weird mix of gospel sample vox and repetitive guitar/keyboard melody.
Odder but better still is 'Taterata' which is honking brass, handclap beats and a psychedelic out-of-time cello hook??
All in all my favourite record of recent weeks. Great design on the labels too.
